Student Working on "sh" sound.

Speech therapist interacting with student while working
on "sh" sound. Notice how the student says that the lights
are not lighting up and the instructor confirms by pointing
that he needs to place his tongue in the right place to make
the right sound.

The speech therapist working with this student is
Kerstine Hart, M.S. CCC-SLP. She has a private practice in
addition to supervising other SLP's and Speech Techs at a local
school district. You can visit her site at: http://www.clearspeechtherapy.net/

  1. This is very interesting and I am curious how the student finalized the session. Did he get it or were more sessions required? On average I can see this helping shorten the session and or the number of sessions.

  2. Hi John. Some how I didn't get notified from your post. This student is being seen on a weekly basis right now and just getting going again after the holidays. His mother has been pleased with the improved progress compared to traditional methods.
