More Ways the Palatometer Can Help Problems that Affect Speech

Cochlear Implants: The Palatometer provides visual demonstrations and live display of the client’s production of each sound to help cochlear implant clients learn how to produce their sounds better.

Apraxia: The Palatometer provides the clinician and client with information about where the tongue is during their speech production. They can also see if the tongue moved into and out of the place correctly or not. This will help to identify incorrect speech patterns and promote correct sequencing movements.
